Deja Vu
I started taking guitar lessons at age 14. The following year, I brought my guitar to school, and my tinkering on it caught the attention of Jason Llyod Kendall. Jason had recently performed in the school talent show with his next-door neighbor, Robert Oravetts, and the three of us quickly found a shared musical spark. A few days later, we had formed a band known as Deja Vu, which would go on to make its mark in the Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania music scene. Original members included Jason Kendall, Rob Oravetts, Jeremy Kendall, and Christopher Jordan.
From those early jam sessions, Jason’s exceptional talent as a songwriter and recording artist quickly became evident. His ability to craft compelling melodies and thoughtful lyrics set him apart, and even in those first performances, his clear dedication to his craft shined through. Today, Jason continues to blend creativity with precision, drawing listeners into every song both in live performances and studio recordings. His music speaks to the same authenticity and passion that have defined his journey since those first days in the school hallway.
